2016 Indian Roadmaster Tiliting Trike Conversion and Trailer For Sale
We thought last week's Suzuki Boulevard C50T with a sidecar was rare, until we came across this listing on IndianMotorcycles.net for a 2016 Roadmaster trike conversion, with a color-matched trailer for sale.
The sellers say they spent 5 years converting this Roadmaster with a Tilting Motor Works TRiO system, giving it two front wheels while still retaining the ability to lean into a corner like a regular two-wheeler. The whole conversion was documented in another long-running thread on the forum. Unfortunately, a run-in with a driver destroyed the front end, but the owners were determined to restore it with a new TRiO system.
The fact this has been in a crash might turn off some buyers (as will the $45,000 asking price), but this trike conversion was already only likely to attract a specific audience as it was. But if you've got the funds and the desire to spend it on something unique with a good story behind it, this might be for you.
