2026 Honda CB125F Announced for Europe
We're big fans of small-displacement bikes here at MO, though we have to admit, our choices here in North America are rather limited compared to other parts of the world. What's typically considered "small" here is something in the 300-500cc range, but in other markets, such as Europe, there's a competitive selection of even smaller bikes in the 125cc range that make for good beginner bikes or urban commuters.
The latest example is the updated 2026 CB125F just announced by Honda for the European market. The little CB has been available in Europe since 2015, and over the last decade, Honda has sold more than 82,000 units. The latest update brings an updated look plus technical upgrades including idling-stop technology, a 4.2" TFT screen, smartphone connectivity and a USB-C charging socket.
You also get an Euro5b compatible 125cc air-cooled engine claiming 11 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.0 lb-ft. at 6,000 rpm. Those performance figures may seem modest compared to larger bikes, but we're talking a bike that claims a wet weight of just 258 pounds. Honda claims the CB125F gets 156.9 mpg which should produce a range of about 456 miles on a full 2.9-gallon tank.
