2027 BMW F 450 GS Gallery - Now With Less AI-Generated Apocolypse
If you listened to episode 14 of our Bore and Stoke Podcast, you'd know that we weren't big fans of BMW's recent trend of using AI-generated photography in its press materials. For the most part, this was restricted to adding a lot of background blur to make a bike look fast, or to make the sky look especially dramatic. Things got really crazy in the photos released for the F 450 GS, when someone at BMW thought it would be neat to set the new adventure bike in a post-apocalyptic amusement park, with roller coasters and Ferris wheels covered in overgrown plant life, like Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs.
Thankfully, BMW has now released more photography of the F 450 GS, against more realistic backdrops. Are they entirely free of AI? We can't say for certain, as there might be a bit of AI-aided touch-up involved, but at least now we can get a better look at the F 450 GS without fear of running into velociraptors around every turn. BMW also supplied some shots of the bike with the F 900 GS and R 1300 GS, showing how well the little GS fits alongside its larger siblings.
[Update Dec. 2 2025: BMW assures us that yes, the new images are 100% AI free, and shot in Sicily with real backgrounds.]
