CFMOTO is bringing its lightweight entry in the sportbike market, the 450SS, back for model year 2027. Priced at $5,199 and backed by a 2-year factory warranty, the 450SS aims to deliver accessible performance for both daily commuters and weekend backroad enthusiasts. Available in Nebula White and Nebula Black, the bike packs a strong feature set designed to appeal to newer riders and experienced enthusiasts alike.

At the center of the 450SS is a 449cc DOHC parallel-Twin engine producing 51 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 29.5 lb-ft of torque. Featuring a 270-degree crankshaft design, the engine offers a broad torque curve with a power delivery reminiscent of a V-Twin. It weighs in at a (claimed) 395-pound curb weight and features a 31-inch seat height, making it an approachable option for a wide variety of riders.

The 450SS utilizes a multi-link rear suspension setup and Brembo M40 calipers up front, supported by integrated electronic rider aids. The full-color TFT screen and aerodynamically tuned bodywork round out a package intended to offer premium components at a competitive price point.
