2025 Stark Varg EX and SM Coming to US Market
Electric enduro model to be joined by unannounced supermoto variant
Last December, Spanish electric motorcycle manufacturer Stark Future announced its first street legal model in the Varg EX enduro. Motorcycle.com can now confirm it will be joined by a Varg SM variant for 2025, bringing Stark’s lineup to three models including the Varg MX motocross bike.
The confirmation comes to us via the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which recently published a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decoder for the street legal Varg EX and Varg SM.
If that wasn’t enough evidence, NHTSA has also opened separate files in its recalls, investigations, complaints and manufacturer communications database for both new models, further confirming U.S. availability.
For most manufacturers, creating a supermoto version of an enduro is simply a matter of swapping in shorter suspension and smaller wheels. We expect Stark to stick to this formula, with 17-inch wheels front and rear instead of the Varg EX’s 21/18-inch combo, as well as less suspension travel than the Varg EX’s 11.8-inch front and 11.9-inch rear give. The Varg EX and Varg MX both use KYB suspension components, and it’s likely KYB will also outfit the SM. We also expect the supermoto to follow its siblings in offering Brembo calipers with Galfer discs.
The Varg SM’s powertrain will be similar to the EX’s, as confirmed by the VIN decoder, with two liquid-cooled electric motor configurations, a standard model claiming 60 hp and an Alpha model claiming 80 hp. The motor is powered by a 7.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack housed in an air-cooled magnesium case with a patented honeycomb structure. Stark claims the Varg EX can get a full recharge in two hours using a level 2 charger integrated into the included stand. Stark claims the Varg EX offers up to 6 hours of riding time (when ridden conservatively).
We expect the SM will use a similar Chromoly steel frame and carbon fiber subframe which helps contribute to the Varg EX’s claimed 264 pound weight.
The 2025 Stark Varg EX is available for $12,900, with U.S. deliveries expected to begin in June. We will have to wait for a formal announcement for pricing and availability of the Varg SM.

Dealer support could be an issue...
They'll will sell alot more if it's street legal.
I'm guessing the range would be similar to the zero fxe, about 40 to 50 miles of fun riding.
