2027 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC – First Look
Pricing starts at US$21,995
We first broke the news last week, but now it’s official: Triumph has announced a new addition to its Triumph Factory collection with the new 2027 Speed Twin 1200 TFC. Limited to a run of just 750 models (including 180 reserved for the U.S. and another 30 for Canada), the latest TFC model builds upon the already impressive Speed Twin 1200 RS with an additional level of performance and premium design details.

The Speed Twin 1200 TFC comes in an Obsidian Gold paint scheme featuring a metallic black base with gold flakes, and a marble-patterned gold stripe on the fuel tank. This color combination is repeated throughout with blacked out engine covers, fork legs, rear sprocket, and Akrapovič exhausts, contrasting with gold anodized fork lowers, and a gold finished chain.
And then there’s the glossy carbon fiber elements, including the front and rear fenders, heel guards, exhaust end caps and side covers.
The TFC uses the same low-set handlebars as the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition, only this time, they’re clipped on below a billet aluminum upper triple tree clamp. Where the RS and Cafe Racer Edition use Marzocchi forks, the Speed Twin 1200 comes equipped with a fully-adjustable 43mm Öhlins fork. The fully-adjustable twin Öhlins external reservoir rear shocks are shared with the RS and Cafe Racer.
The braking system is likewise similar, with twin Brembo Stylema M4.30 radial-mount calipers and 320mm discs up front, combined with a Brembo MCS lever. For the rear wheel, Triumph opted for a Nissin two-piston floating caliper and 220mm disc.
The TFC model shares its 1,200cc parallel-Twin SOHC engine with the rest of the Speed Twin 1200 family, with Triumph claiming a peak output of 103.5 hp at 7,750 rpm and 83 lb-ft. at 4,250 rpm. The electronics package includes three preset ride modes, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering anti-lock brakes, a round LCD display with integrated color TFT screen, and a USB_C charging socket. Like the RS model, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC comes standard with a bi-directional quickshifter.
Other features include machined bar-end mirrors, a leather and suede bench seat, and a signed certificate of authenticity. Each Speed Twin 1200 TFC model comes supplied with a branded indoor cover and a waterproof seat cover.
The 2027 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC is available now for preorder, and is expected to arrive in dealerships at the beginning of October. Pricing starts at $21,995 in the U.S., and CA$24,995 in Canada.
