2027 Triumph Speed Twin TFC Leaked In Homologation Filings
The latest Triumph Factory Custom limited to 750 units
Triumph is preparing to launch a new addition to its Triumph Factory Custom program with a new limited edition model based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS. Like previous examples, the 2027 Triumph Speed Twin TFC will feature hand-painted elements with custom gold accents, various carbon fiber and billet aluminum pieces, and some performance-focused upgrades.

The information comes to us not from Triumph but from Australian homologation filings. And while we don’t have complete specifications, we have enough technical information and high enough resolution images to confirm several details.
The TFC model is based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS, which already offers significant upgrades over the base variant. The homologation information confirms the 1,200cc parallel-Twin engine remains unchanged from the other Speed Twin variants (including the Cafe Racer Edition announced in January.) We can expect the same claimed peak performance figures of 103.5 hp at 7,750 rpm and 83 lb-ft. at 4,250 rpm, though that may not reflect any changes from the Akrapovič exhaust shown in the pictures.
The Australian filing doesn’t provide specifics about the chassis, but visually, we spy similar twin Öhlins rear shocks with external reservoirs. Assuming a similar setup to the RS, we expect the rear suspension to be fully adjustable and offer 4.8-inches of travel. Up front, however, the TFC swaps out the Marzocchi forks for Öhlins suspension. The brakes appear to be the same as the Speed Twin 1200 RS, with dual Brembo Stylema radial-mount calipers and 320mm discs up front and a Nissin two-piston caliper with a 220mm disc for the rear wheel.
Moving up the forks, we spot a billet aluminum upper triple clamp with a small slot identifying a numbered unit out of a total run of 750 models. The handlebars appear similar to the ones used on the Cafe Edition, attaching to the fork tubes below the upper clamp and with the same bar-end mirrors.
The fuel tank features glossy black paint with a marbled gold stripe, a motif it shares with previous TFC models. Carbon fiber is used for the front and rear fenders, side covers, heel guards and exhaust tips, contributing to homologation data listing a 6.6-pound weight savings compared to the Speed Twin 1200 RS.
Other visible features include a leather seat, a gold-colored chain, and new turn signal indicators, with the rear signals pulling double duty as rear brake lights.
We don’t know how much the Speed Twin TFC will cost, but it will obviously be a premium over the RS model’s $17,195 price tag, or the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition’s $18,895 MSRP. The 2025 Bobber TFC started at $18,495 versus the standard Bonneville Bobber’s $14,795 price. It’s probably safe to assume the latest TFC model will top the $20k mark.
We’ll know for sure when Triumph officially announces the 2027 Speed Twin TFC, which we expect to occur in the next month or two.
