LiveWire S4 Honcho Trail Now Arriving At US Dealerships
Street models coming soon, with European deliveries to follow
LiveWire announced it has started delivering the S4 Honcho Trail off-road motorcycles to dealerships across the United States, with the Street version of the mini-moto expected to follow shortly. European deliveries are expected to begin in the fall.
With a starting price of $4,999, the 2027 S4 Honcho Trail is LiveWire's most affordable motorcycle, with the street-legal version costing just slightly more at $5,499. That's less than half the price of LiveWire's S2 models ($11,999 for the Del Mar and Mulholland, $12,999 for the Alpinista), and a far cry from the recently discounted to $13,999 LiveWire One.
The S4 models both share the same powertrain and battery, with LiveWire claiming a range of 53 miles (73 miles at a sustained speed of 20 mph), and a top speed of 59 mph. The Trail has a claimed curb weight of 253 pounds, with the S4 Honcho Street having a claimed weight of 266 pounds.

LiveWire also announced Jme Thomas of Washington as the winner of its nationwide S4 Honcho giveaway, which received more than 30,000 entries. Thomas was given the choice between the S4 Honcho Street and Trail models and selected the Trail, which she received at LiveWire Bellevue, located within Eastside Harley-Davidson.
“I entered the giveaway because Honcho looked like such a fun way to ride, but I never expected to actually win,” said Thomas. “I chose the Trail because I love being outdoors, and I’m excited to have a whole new way to explore.”
S4 Honcho combines approachable performance, compact dimensions and versatile capability in a new mini-moto platform designed to make riding accessible and fun for a broad range of customers.
Additional S4 Honcho Trail shipments will continue arriving at U.S. dealerships as inventory builds, with S4 Honcho Street following soon. The Honcho rollout will also expand internationally this fall, with the platform set to arrive in select European markets.
