When we recorded this episode, EICMA was right around the corner, and it's always the time of year when the motorcycle world is buzzing. In this episode of Bore and Stoke, Troy, Nic, and Dennis dig into the biggest headlines leading up to the show — including the all-new MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro, Honda’s confirmed CB1000GT sport-tourer, and Kawasaki’s revived KLE500.

The guys also break down major industry news:

• Zero Motorcycles moving its operations to Europe

• Yamaha’s electric and PHEV prototypes from the Japan Mobility Show

• Indian Motorcycle’s sale to a private equity firm

• Triumph’s updated 2026 Modern Classics lineup

• Ducati’s next Monster, and more

Then they switch gears to the bikes they’ve been riding lately — the CFMOTO 675SS, Honda CBR1000RR-R, and KTM 990 RC R. From affordable performance to track-ready superbikes, this episode covers the full spectrum of what’s new and next in motorcycling.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to our podcast sponsor, the Honda Gold Wing. If you’re gonna ride, ride something legendary. Learn more about the 50th anniversary of the Honda Gold Wing here.

Troy's been riding motorcycles and writing about them since 2006, getting his start at Rider Magazine. From there, he moved to Sport Rider Magazine before finally landing at Motorcycle.com in 2011. A lifelong gearhead who didn't fully immerse himself in motorcycles until his teenage years, Troy's interests have always been in technology, performance, and going fast. Naturally, racing was the perfect avenue to combine all three. Troy has been racing nearly as long as he's been riding and has competed at the AMA national level. He's also won multiple club races throughout the country, culminating in a Utah Sport Bike Association championship in 2011. He has been invited as a guest instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and when he's not out riding, he's either wrenching on bikes or watching MotoGP.

My 2021 KTM 300 XCW was the best dirt bike I ever bought until I bought my 2025 KTM 300 XCW. It now takes that crown...

Don’t count KTM out, Baja has made some significant changes in cutting out the greedy white collar employees but kept the one’s that build the bikes. Baja is the best thing that could have happened for the brand. KTM will improve its financial problems, but takes some time to see the results. I love the brand and wouldn’t trade my 790 Duke for any other middleweight Naked, it’s that awesome of a bike.
