2012 BMW K 1300 S For Sale
Today's featured classifieds listing comes to us from a member of K-Bikes.com in Vermont selling a 2012 BMW K 1300 S.
The owner says they are the third to possess this K 1300 S, with a combined mileage of 13,537 miles. The current owner says the K 1300 S is in good shape, but has too many bikes in their garage (we're jealous on that front) with not enough time to ride long enough a distance to do it justice (and we can relate on this one).
The list of modifications include:
- Scorpion Slip on. I do not have the stock can.
- Bagster tank cover (I put them on all my bikes and swap one tank bag, no surprises under there)
- Rear sets from a Motorsports edition, (bling with adjustments.) OEM rear sets included plus Knight design peg lowers or stock pegs
- CF fairing pieces here and there, all original included.
- Sargent seat with lockable storage pod. OEM seat included
- Givi 3 piece hard cases with mounts included. BMW Sport panniers currently mounted, keyed to ignition, and included.
- Helibars
- Smoked screen, oem clear included.
- Mesh adhesive headlight protector

I have an R1100 S which was my dream bike for years and I finally got one. The K1200 was a brilliant machine when I test rode one and I would certainly own one. The K1300 was just a little too angular for me but no doubt a nice machine.
You should be able to remove the drainplug on the rear, drain the gear oil and refill to spec: not have to remove the rear wheel etc. or spend $1200 to have that done after 20,000 miles.
