2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour – First Look
Touring variant priced at $14,695
Triumph has been at the forefront of a revival of more traditional sport-touring motorcycles, first with its Tiger Sport 660 and more recently with the larger Tiger Sport 800. In his review of the 800, Nic de Sena praised it for its agile handling and long-haul comfort. But if there was one quibble with the Tiger Sport 800, it was the accessories you’d need to add to make it truly suitable for long distance touring, such as luggage and heated grips.

It’s like Triumph was reading Nic’s mind, as the British brand has now announced a new Tiger Sport 800 Tour model for 2026, featuring a lot of those add-ons as standard equipment. Arriving in dealerships in February 2026, the Tiger Sport 800 Tour has a starting price of $14,695, or $2,100 more than the standard 800 model.
With the higher price point, you get color matched panniers, a top case with dual backrest pads, an aluminum luggage rack, heated grips, hand guards, a center stand, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a more comfortable seat. All of those pieces are already available in Triumph’s accessories catalog, but it would cost more to add them all separately.
“The Tiger Sport 800 Tour combines the proven sports performance and agility of the Tiger Sport 800 and adds full touring specification, fitted as standard,” says Paul Stroud, Triumph’s Chief Commercial Officer. “This is a motorcycle our customers have been asking for, designed to enhance comfort and capability on longer adventures. By offering this level of specification at an attractive price, we’re making sports touring more accessible and creating a compelling option that will help us grow market share.”
Mechanically, the Tour variant is similar to the regular Tiger Sport 800. It’s powered by the same 798cc Triple, with Triumph claiming 113 hp at 10,750 rpm and 62 lb-ft. at 8,500 rpm. The TPMS joins an electronics package that includes a ride-by-wire throttle, lean-sensitive anti-lock brakes and traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The chassis is also unchanged, with a tubular steel perimeter frame, Showa suspension, dual radial-mount four-piston front brake calipers, and 17-inch cast aluminum wheels. With all the added accessories, Triumph claims a curb weight of 511 pounds, which is about 39 pounds heavier than the regular model.
The 2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour will be available in a choice of Carnival Red or Matt Cobalt.

Sport Tourers usually don't look that good to me, but Triumph nailed it with this model, beautiful aesthetics and that Matt cobalt (blue) is so pretty. I'm liking this new 800 triple engine, sufficient hp and torque, should perform well. Specs above list seat height at 32.9" but Triumph list the seat at 32.6" - wonder who is correct? I've found that Triumph makes lots of errors on their website for specs, uncalled for.
If the seat was 1 inch lower Triumph would already have my deposit.
