Honda Teases CB1000F SE Concept for Suzuka 8 Hours
A follow-up to the original concept from March
Honda will be debuting a new CB1000F SE Concept at the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race in August. The SE model follows the CB1000F Concept presented in March in Osaka, Japan, as a retro-styled “next generation CB” model combining tradition and modernity.
For the CB1000F SE Concept, Honda added a headlight cowl, saying it “enhances the traditional proportions” of the earlier concept, though we don’t know if anything else has changed. Overlaying a teaser image with the original concept below, there doesn’t appear to be any other differences in their silhouettes.
When it first showed the CB1000F Concept, Honda also presented a couple of variants styled by outside parties including a racing-inspired version by Moriwaki Engineering with a bellypan and a flyscreen. The SE Concept is a more conservative variant, which isn’t surprising for an in-house design. That said, the fact Honda even created an SE version underscores how serious it is about putting the CB1000F into production.
More information will be made available when Honda presents the CB1000F SE Concept at Suzuka, August 1 to 3.

Yes, it’s a very awkward bend. Other than that, it’s a great looking bike that’ll probably sell like cold drinks in hell.
So a UJM is a new concept...
