Harley-Davidson Let's Ride Challenge Leads to $1 Million Donation
Harley-Davidson announced it is donating $1 million to a number of military, veteran, and first responder support groups after riders successfully surpassed the 50-million mile barrier for the Let's Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes campaign.
And when by surpassed, Harley-Davidson means, with ease, as the 29,000-plus participants collectively logged 83.4 million miles between March 28 and October 31.
The $1 million will be divided between the following organizations:
- 1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team
- American Legion Riders
- Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association
- Hanks for Our Troops
- Motorcycle Missions
- National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers
- Rolling Thunder
- Wounded Warrior Project
- Veterans of Foreign Wars

Five New Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Awarded to Top-Scoring Challenge Riders
Harley-Davidson today proudly announced the results of its 2025 Let’s Ride Challenge™ – Ride for Heroes, which saw more than 29,000 participants log 83.4 million miles on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles as they collectively celebrated our nations’ military, veterans, and first responders. By easily breaking the 50-million-mile barrier, Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes participants activated a $1 million donation by Harley-Davidson to organizations that support those heroes. The largest and most ambitious riding challenge ever launched by Harley-Davidson concluded its seven-month run on October 31, 2025.
“The Harley-Davidson community is always ready to step up to support those who keep us safe and free,” said Theo Keetell, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Marketing. “The Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes combined fun with purpose, and Harley-Davidson was overwhelmed with the positive response. It’s with great pride that the company will make this donation to these very worthy organizations on behalf of all the riders who participated.”
The organizations supported by Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes are: 1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team, American Legion Riders, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®, Hanks for Our Troops, Motorcycle Missions, National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers™, Rolling Thunder®, Wounded Warrior Project®, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The 2025 Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes was active from March 28 to October 31, and open to U.S. residents with a Harley-Davidson VIN. After registering at an authorized Harley-Davidson dealership, participants built a Rev Score through subsequent dealer visits based on accumulated mileage updates, the collection of keywords and first-time dealer visits.
The average Let’s Ride Challenge – Ride for Heroes participant logged 3,500 miles, but more than 2,300 participants logged more than 10,000 miles in tribute to those who protect and serve our communities.
New Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be awarded to the top riders in each of five Rev Score tiers with the winners to be announced soon:
Silver Tier Grand Prize (1-2,500 miles) Harley-Davidson® Nightster® model.
Gold Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (2,501 - 4,000 miles) Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® model.
Platinum Grand Prize Motorcycle (4,001 - 5,500 miles) Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® model.
Diamond Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (5,501 - 7,500 miles) Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® model.
Black & Orange Tier Grand Prize Motorcycle (7,501+ miles) 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO Road Glide® Model.

If HD wants to do better with sales, they need to get outside their normal checkbox demo. There are a lot of folks outside of it. Probably 50-60% of the population.
Charities by nature, are generally ripe for abuse. Lots of charities have very little oversight or rules to adhere to ..... and many of those rules are easily skirted by crooked initiators. Take for instance the high profile Trump family. Donald is actually barred from starting charities in the state of NY because he has been such a thief. He had started charities and had people send him million$ ... only for him to pocket it all for himself. The grift worked so well that all of his kids from his 1st marriage, Don Jr, Ivanka, and Eric, have followed suit and done the same! Eric and Lara have actually had multiple children's charities that they've continued to rob blind over the years. One really has to do their due diligence with charities, or you'll be sending your hard earned money to support people much wealthier than yourself. Like so many other things, a few bad apples really will spoil (charitable giving) the bunch.
