Schuberth Announces New S3 Carbon Full-Face and C5 ANC Modular Helmets

SCHUBERTH is excited to present the new SCHUBERTH S3 Carbon, a helmet where Formula 1 technology meets the open road. At its core, a 100% carbon shell, crafted by the same technicians, and using the same process as for the SCHUBERTH Formula 1 helmets. A unique construction method that only SCHUBERTH has used to construct its motorcycle helmets. This specific construction results in a weight reduction of up to 200g compared to the fiberglass shell of the existing S3.

Developed specifically for sport touring riders who want to ride further and faster, performance isn’t only attributed to the advanced construction of the helmet shell. With a design fine-tuned in SCHUBERTH’s wind tunnel, the S3 Carbon delivers exceptional stability, as well as leading aeroacoustics while out on the open road.

Comfort is ensured with premium liners throughout the helmet, and can be tailored to riders’ unique preference with the SCHUBERTH Individual Program. Offering the possibility to customize the helmets fit with a selection of helmet pad options.

All of this in a package that features a performance inspired double D-ring closure, Pinlock® 120 XLT, drop down sunshield, and keeps riders connected with pre-installed communications hardware, ready to accept the SCHUBERTH SC communication system of your choice based on the latest technologies from SENA and CARDO.

The S3 Carbon will be available in sizes ranging from XS (53) to XXXL (65) at a recommended retail price of 1099€. Due to the exclusive craftmanship, production will be limited, ensuring each helmet is a truly unique product.

Riders are constantly exposed to a wide range of noises while out on the road. Some of which can be distracting, cause fatigue, and potentially lead to long term hearing damage. Active Noise Cancellation technology can help control the sounds riders are exposed to. However, unlike traditional Active Noise Cancellation systems, this system isn’t built for airplanes or coffee shops, it’s tuned for the road.

Developed in conjunction with Cardo, and using SCHUBERTH’s proprietary calibration and tuning, the SC Edge ANC system specifically targets wind and turbulence noise that causes rider fatigues and potential long term hearing damage, while retaining essential sounds like the engine noise, surrounding traffic and emergency sirens. This proprietary filtering ensure that riders can retain the passive safety sounds that they need to hear, while eliminating the noise that causes distraction. All of this is done with one clear goal: Control the noise, Amplify the ride.

This unit is supported by new powerful 53-millimeter ANC speakers, providing the C5 ANC with industry leading clarity and depth of audio, crystal clear communication and connectivity. Whether it’s intercom conversations or your favourite songs, the new ANC speakers redefine in-helmet audio with an immersive, high-fidelity experience, delivering depth and precision that set a completely new benchmark.
