Husqvarna Follows KTM With 4-Year Warranty for 2025+ Street Bikes

Earlier this week, KTM announced it is expanding its four-year premium warranty to its entire street bike lineup, regardless of displacement. We didn't expect the comments to blow up as they did, with many citing the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act prohibiting tying a warranty to dealer service. It should come as no surprise if news of Husqvarna adopting its sister brand's four-year premium warranty will draw a similar response.

Begin Press Release:

Husqvarna Mobility extends Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty to all street motorcycles

Four-year coverage now applies to the complete range from model year 2025 onwards

Husqvarna Mobility has announced a significant enhancement to its Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty program, which now includes all street-legal motorcycles from Model Year 2025 onwards.

The updated warranty coverage applies across the brand’s entire street range, regardless of engine displacement, and features models previously excluded from the extended coverage. The expansion reinforces Husqvarna Mobility’s commitment to long-term reliability, uncompromising quality, and an enhanced ownership experience.

The new four-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty covers all street-homologated models within the Travel, Naked and Supermoto categories, including:

Naked

  • Svartpilen 801
  • Svartpilen 801 SE
  • Vitpilen 801

Travel

  • 701 Enduro
  • Norden 901
  • Norden 901 Expedition

Supermoto

  • 701 Supermoto

Importantly, the updated coverage also applies to motorcycles from model year 2025 onward already in dealer inventory, as well as motorcycles that have previously been sold or registered, provided that all warranty conditions are fulfilled. The Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty is free of charge for all riders.

To maintain the full warranty duration, all scheduled services must be carried out by an authorized Husqvarna Mobility dealership in accordance with the official service schedule designated for each machine. Standard manufacturer warranty terms and conditions continue to apply.

*Please note that some motorcycles might not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The FE 350s and FE 501s dual-sport models carry a one-year warranty.

An extended warranty doesn't mean anything if the manufacturer won't stand behind it. "They know all they sold you was a guaranteed piece of sh*t!" - Tommy Calahan, "Tommy Boy"

  • Manufacturers are allowed by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act to specify Stealership parts and services to maintain factory warranties provided that they DO NOT CHARGE FOR IT!
