2026 Triumph Thruxton 400 and Street Tracker 400 Confirmed for US
Café racer and flat tracker additions to the TR-series
Triumph is preparing to add two more models to its TR-series lineup for the United States, in the form of a new Thruxton 400 and a Street Tracker 400.
The proof comes to us via the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which has opened files for the 2026 Thruxton 400 and Street Tracker 400 to its recall database. They join the existing Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and Scrambler 400 XC.
Of the two new models, the Thruxton 400 already exists, just not in the U.S. market. In August, Triumph launched the Thruxton 400 solely for India, which makes sense when we remember the TR series was developed from a partnership between Triumph and Bajaj Auto.
The Thruxton 400 is a café racer model featuring a fairing, sporty ergonomics, and a slightly more powerful version of Triumph’s 398cc engine. Triumph claims a peak output of 41.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and 27.7 lb-ft. at 7,000 rpm for the Thruxton, compared to the 39.5 hp at 8,000 rpm and 27.7 lb-ft. at 6,500 rpm it claims on the Speed and Scrambler models.
The Street Tracker 400 hasn’t been announced for any market yet, though blurry spy photos of a flat track-inspired variant have emerged from India. From the photos, the new model looks to have the Scrambler 400 X’s twin exhaust, the Speed 400’s cast wheels, a flat bench seat, a number plate-style fly screen on the headlight, and number plate side panels below the seat.
2Triumph has planned two more model announcements for later this month, but based on the teasers, they appear to be for new Alpine and Desert Editions for its Tiger 900 and 1200 and a new Street Triple 765 RX. We’re more likely to see the new 400s at one of the later scheduled announcements, either in December or early in 2026.

Is the Speed Triple 765 RX available on prescription-only?
It’s hilarious how I live in the small minds of Rich and Feman on wheels! Haha!
I hope to see a production version of that flat tracker.
