In this episode of the Bore and Stoke podcast, the MO crew breaks down the latest motorcycle news and hot topics.

We start with the big news of Yamaha introducing its new V4 MotoGP prototype at the San Marino GP, September 12-14, 2025, which breaks away from the YZF-M1’s long-standing Inline-Four configuration. With that new chapter opening, another one closes with six-time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea announcing he will retire at the end of the season. In other racing news, we discuss Stark Future becoming the first fully electric team to enter the World Supercross Championship, plus the announcement of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup’s debut race schedule.

The team also discusses some of the new bikes coming our way, including Honda’s new CRF300F, Husqvarna’s 2026 dual-sport lineup, KTM’s new 690s, and the mystery of what Yamaha has in store with its RW700 Explore trademark.

We also look back at some of the bikes we recently tested, including the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX SE sport-tourer, and the 2025 Suzuki DR-Z4SM supermoto.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to our podcast sponsor, the Honda Gold Wing. If you’re gonna ride, ride something legendary. Learn more about the 50th anniversary of the Honda Gold Wing here.
