The Quail MotoFest Will Return in 2027
The event formerly known as the Quail Motorcycle Gathering to go to biennial format
The Quail Motofest announced it will be adopting a biennial schedule and will return in 2027 instead of 2026 as previously announced.
Formerly known as the Quail Motorcycle Gathering until this year, the Concours d'Elegance and rally has been held every year since 2009, with the exception of 2020, due to COVID, at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel, California.
The 15th Quail MotoFest was held this May, and the 16th event was supposed to take place in May 2026. Instead, organizers will hold the event every other year, promising a refreshed and re-imagined event when it returns in 2027.

I read recently the issues of the organizer based on lack of manufacture support. this is a very different situation w the car event of the same name where it is well supported. I would love to be able to make a case as to the discrepancy but cannot. I can only guess that the MC firms do not see it as a place to showcase their products. As for the motorcycle event already being limited attendance I find the reinvention possibly risky. and going to biennial the same risk. IF the organizers wish to bring the MC Quail up to snuff against the auto version maybe holding them the same time would do so. people are busy and two separate times to reach similar audiences makes for a problem w time commitments.
